Our Story

Co owner and talented chef Claire brings to Cinnamon & Sage 15 years experience in the Service and Hospitality industry.

Claire draws inspiration travelling Western and Southern Europe and the African and European Mediterranean coast. This coupled with her work with De Wintons caterers of London, Fat Catz Cafe’ in South Africa and Fairlight Hall in Hastings have shaped a unique, honest, no frills cooking style. Her delightful canapés are a must for any function or occasion.

Highly knowledgable, Claire has drawn on these experiences and will put together a menu for you where each dish tells a story and leave you with lasting memories on your taste buds.

Co owner Warren started out work in the Digital media & IT industry but ever since he was capable of reaching for a stove he was learning the art of cooking.  After 12 years his passion for good food and exemplary hospitality was ignited after meeting Claire. Together with Claire’s excellent culinary knowledge they opened a coffee shop selling cakes and light lunches. This proved very popular and they went on to open a larger cafe’ called Fat Catz Cafe’. After getting the taste for hospitality, in 2012 Warren & Claire went on to manage Fairlight Hall in East Sussex and Warren still provides his services as an Estate and Property Manager.

Being brought up in Cape Town, South Africa you will find them most comfortable around a BBQ making sure the food is prepared to perfection.

Cinnamon & Sage also provide a Luxury Holiday Letting Management service and are proud to have partnered with Little Warren Cottage, Arundel View and have more holiday let projects pending. These properties epitomise the standards and quality they aspire to.
